A working room, so the colour goes on the cupboards where it can be wiped, and the walls stay light enough to see what you are chopping. The brass note is for an island or open shelving.
Roughly the proportions we’d use: most of the room in one colour, a third of it in the woodwork, and about a tenth of it brave.
